Wired or Wireless?

When choosing to go with wires or wireless can depend on a number of factors, such as the construction of your house is made of (granite and older buildings have problems with signals going through walls), how many PCs or Laptops will you be connecting? and where you will be using it? do you want to be free from wires?. If you order any networking solution from us you will receive a consultation from one of our expert engineers to find out the besessolution for your property. 

Service

We schedule a time that is convenient to you

One of our engineers will come out with the equipment

Your network equipment will be unpacked, setup, installed and customised for you.

They will make sure your connection is secure so no one can break in.

All of the equipment will be demonstrated to you while they are there

Our engineer will spend time making sure your computer is protected with the latest antivirus and Windows patches.

Any other information relating to the service will be explained to you so you can ask any questions you want.

Prices

The prices shown below are inclusive of the services listed above and equipment listed in each section.
         

Wireless Network (2 PC's or Laptop's) - £137 inc. VAT

Broadband ADSL Router with fast wireless connection.

Connection and setup for TWO PC(s) or Laptop(s).

Two wireless cards - which can be used in a Laptop or PC.

Two ADSL micro filters (they are only the size of a normal phone splitter).

Required cabling for the router (i.e. power and telephone).


Wired Network (5 PC's or Laptop's) - £97 inc. VAT

Cost includes services as listed above in the services section and components listed below.

A 5 Port Switch that can connect up to 5 PC's or Laptops

Up to 100m of Cat 5e Network cable to connect your computers up

Tacking for cabling (to hold it to a wall or skirting board etc) which will be fitted.

Up to 5 network cards.

All cables are be made to measure so no unwanted cables laying around.
 
Notes
Additional wireless cards can be supplied for laptop or PCs at competitive rates
Additional PC's or Laptops added to the network will be £34 inc VAT and includes wireless adapter and setup.
An ADSL micro filter is required on ALL sockets on the telephone line that the router will connected to, these can be supplied and fitted for £7 inc. VAT each.
Additional charges may apply if there are barriers to setup e.g. viruses or spyware.
Any extra equipment required can be supplied at very competitive rates and installed by our hightly trained engineers.
Extra Cat 5e cable is available at 0.30 p / m inc. VAT
